Product (Services) Marketing Manager - (Must have Service-Based Product Marketing and B2B Experience
The Product Marketing Manager, working with Line of Business field staff and leadership, implements cost-effective strategies to attract, engage and retain clients and stakeholders, This is done through development and execution of Line of Business Marketing Plans, as well as just-in-time activities and opportunities that advance business objectives. The Marketing Manager is considered an expert in positioning product/service line capabilities among key audiences, both internal and external, to ultimately increase revenue. 1. Establish position as a collaborative marketing partner with line of business leader: through demonstrated knowledge, proactive outreach and results. 2. Develop and lead implementation of marketing plan. In collaboration with the business line, the Marketing Manager will develop an integrated marketing plan, ensuring alignment of messages and optimizing outcomes. Plans may include tools such as events, trade shows, conferences, advertising, direct mail, website and other. The Marketing Manager will be directly involved in the execution of the plan. This may include writing, event management etc. 3. Competitive and market knowledge, product positioning and messaging. The Marketing Manager will coalesce knowledge of the market, the product, the value proposition and the key messaging for internal communications, external communications and sales readiness. 4. Serve as a consultant in the application of marketing to the sales process to achieve enhanced meeting rates and sales revenue. 5. Work with the Line of Business leaders to define go-to-market strategies around product and service offerings. This may include target strategies, outreach and ongoing engagement strategies. 6. Ensure sales teams have the proper marketing materials and collateral to articulate our value proposition, and are aware of and use materials. 7. Contribute to/help deliver sales/product training as appropriate. - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or business related field required. - Seven or more years of marketing/sales experience, with demonstrated experience in project management of integrated campaigns or projects. - Must have experience, in marketing, in a service based environment - Experience in establishing go to market messages and strategy for a new product or service. - Must have B2B experience in marketing. - Sales acumen and/or experience considered plus. - Sales readiness planning and product training facilitation experience. - Exceptional interpersonal communication skills including writing and presentation skills. - Highly motivated self-starter. - Responsible, organized, creative, and excellent attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed assigned tasks, goals, and deadlines.
