This position is accountable for helping to analyze and manage one or more product lines to meet product performance expectations. Objective will include development of new products and strategies to enhance existing products. Requires coordination of activities based on understanding of product strategies. Participates in cross functional teams for the development and implementation of product marketing activities.
Job requires knowledge of procedures, workflows and reporting relationships of multiple units, and a broad understanding of the work is performed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains and compiles research for ongoing competitor, customer and market analysis. Documents and maintains trend information. Will analyze and interpret competitive, industry and market information to determine positioning and opportunities for products.
- Contributes to the design and development of new and enhanced product offerings. Has thorough product knowledge and expertise.
- Writes presentation and training content for field training and participation in delivery of products and programs to field and home office departments.
- Works independently to develop solid working relationships with internal business partners to implement new products or enhance products.
- Effectively supports and builds field relationships by providing product support.
- May perform other duties as assigned

- Working knowledge of Insurance industry and Colonial.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent related work experience required
- Insurance designations helpful: ASA, FLMI, CLU, CHFC, REBC, RHU, or HIAA
- Meets the standards for this position, as defined in the Talent Management Framework.
