Product Specialist Job in San Diego 92131, California Us
Basic Function: This position fields inbound calls and emails in an effort to drive sales of SmartDraw services and products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs.
Purpose: To provide service answers and technical support to our prospects and customers while uncovering sales opportunities in order to up-sell and cross sell them.
Specific Duties: Close sales by overcoming objections and technical concerns which include:
· Up-sell and cross-sell call in leads
· Passing qualified leads to our Outbound sales team
· Provides marketing technical support
· Acts as the technical representative on special projects with customers.
· Works with product development and marketing staff to identify new product and product enhancement opportunities.
· obtaining coordinating data information from staff member groups
· doing market research to determine customer needs providing information to other staff
· evaluating product service marketability in terms of customers’ technical manufacturing needs
· maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
· gathering analyzing, and sharing customer technical information feedback
· customer satisfaction with products and services
· Support operation requests from our VP of Operations and COO
Specialized Knowledge or Skills:
· Ability to close prospects in real-time
· Well developed sales skills or willingness to be involved in Sales Training
· Technical knowledge of SmartDraw product and Visual Presentations
· Excellent oral/written communication skills
· Well developed presentation skills
· Excellent customer relations skills
· Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
