A leading specialist in Real-Time, integrated Portfolio and Risk management, multi-asset class solution is hiring for a Senior product specialist to work with buy and sell side clients.
The role is based within the sales team where you will be interacting with clients and prospect clients. Your role will be key as the subject matter specialist to ensure the success of the sales process. Your remit will also cover post-sales where you will aim for retention and development of client accounts.
Responsibilities
Support the sales process and undertaking qualification, presentation, review and clarification of the product fit.
Provide technical, functional and quantitative aspects of the product.
Finding specific solutions/configurations for customer needs, communicate the value and to manage objections.
Develop relationships, building customer confidence and identify customer issues
Involvement in training for advanced use of the product including highly technical and quantitative requirements
Account development
Attendance of trade shows and seminars
Requirements
Strong background in quantitative finance/financial engineering (MUST)
Quantitative modelling (Black Scholes, Monte Carlo etc
)
Mathematics/quantitative skills (i.e. calculus/statistics)
Portfolio and/or Risk Management business knowledge
Understanding of trading strategies
Financial products (derivatives, CDS, Swaps, Exotics)
Knowledge on Risk Management practices and metrics
Excellent communications (Must have fluent English)
