Product Specialists (PSGL) – Financial Analytics recruitment

You will ensure proper planning, execution successful completion of projects within the stipulated time without compromising the quality of delivery.

You will primarily be involved in the re-engineering initiatives / projects in the Finance systems and Operations team with focus on Financial Analytics project which aims to provide aggregated Cost MI across businesses and automate integrated cost and headcount reporting across different functions of the bank.

You must be prepared for the following:

• The working environment demands an ability to work in a fast paced, changing, international, environment, while providing a quality client service
• Some international travel may be required
• Periods of working long hours is expected
• Much of the work will be to deadlines / work day limits
• Weekly reports will be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies

Key Roles Responsibilities

• Ensure user requirements are documented clearly in the form of Business requirement documents.
• Ensure proper translation of business requirement document in to Functional specification document.
• Obtain and record approvals received from users on the business requirements.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to technology team members and work closely on implementations.
• Provide test cases and actively participate in User acceptance test and ensure closure of open findings in a timely manner.
• Clearly document and record user acceptance sign offs.
• Highlight potential risks that arises impacting the scope, time and cost of the project on a real time basis to Project managers and stake holders as appropriate
• Liaise and maintain cordial working relationship with project peer group on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with Group policy requirement on project management.

Work Relationships

• Work with project manager to understand and document project objectives and scope.
• Closely work with key stakeholders who have dependencies, impact on the project deliverables
• Work with project manager/s to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues.
• Work with the business owners to define acceptance criteria.
• Contribute towards project delivery in line with planned timelines and cost budget

Qualifications  Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

Essential

• Several years of Industry experience in a similar capacity required.
• Strong Delivery / Hands on Implementation experience of Peoplesoft GL with  Core product knowledge.
• Implementation Experience Working knowledge on OBIEE – Financial Analytics module would be critical to the role.
• Experience and understanding of broad range of commonly used reporting tools viz., Hyperion Essbase / Cubes
• Finance background would be desirable and added advantage.
• A broad understanding of banking products, their control environment and business drivers.
• Resilient, Enthusiastic Result Oriented; a change driver who challenges the status quo in a creative manner.
• Adept at handling multiple tasks at once and within an extremely deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, Strong Team player, presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Strong track record of delivering projects which are multifaceted / multi location.   
• Ability to demonstrate the Bank’s values in achieving objectives
 
Desirable

• Cross functional implementation of various Analytics within ORACL suite will be an added advantage, in particular Financial Analytics and HR Analytics
• Exposure on Oracle / Peoplesoft suite of products viz., ePROC, PSA, TE, AP AM.
• PMP Certification desirable
• Functional reporting experience and understanding of Management reporting would be an added advantage
