Product Strategist – Content recruitment
The MIS Content Marketing Product Strategy team is responsible for managing and growing Moody's Research and Data Services business. Working closely with the Senior Product Strategist for Corporate Finance Content and Managing Directors across Moody's rating groups, the Product Strategist will help manage Moody's Corporate Research and Data Products business.
In this role you will support a wide variety of activities that are core to the continued growth and development of the business. You will be involved in managing products through their respective lifecycles and executing against Go-to-Market plans, providing support to the Sales and Client Service organisations, gathering market intelligence and establishing market requirements for services, and creating and pitching business plans to senior management.

Qualifications/Experience
Must have an MBA and degree (or equivalent) preferably gained within a Marketing, Business Administration or Economics discipline
Proven strategy experience preferably gained in a Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking or Investment Management environment.
Sound analytical judgement
Developed understanding of the Fixed Income / Credit markets very desirable
Highly numerate with experience working with high volumes of data. Must be able to analyse and outline meaningful conclusions from qualitative client feedback or large data sets.
Market sizing and segmentation experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships with senior business professionals, both internally and externally.
Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.
Ability to work pro-actively and multi-task, highly organised with good time management skills.
Ability to work using own initiative without close supervision yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within Moody's.
Key Responsibilities:
New Product Development:
Implement market research to identify new product opportunities.
Develop ideas and business plans for new products and pitch the strategy and financial impact to senior management.
Manage product development teams, consisting of technology and product management resources from specification and development of the new product, to roll out and maintenance.
Business Line Management:
Develop strategies to grow revenue and manage expenses of existing product offerings.
Take responsibility for all aspects of product offerings including features, price and positioning.
Monitor competitive developments and develop strategic responses.
Source market feedback on Moody's products and services. Recommend, design and implement product enhancements.
Develop yearly sales forecasts and business plans and track performance throughout the year.
Educate sales force about products at team meetings, global off-sites and product road-shows.
Assist in development of external distribution channels and 3rd party licensing agreements.
Market Outreach/Coordination:
Represent Moody's at investor meetings, company-sponsored events and third-party conferences.
Develop materials for and lead product related road-shows.
Coordinate and monitor investor outreach activities globally.
