Product Strategy & Propositions Analyst recruitment

We’re looking for a Product Strategy Propositions Analyst to join the Corporate Institutional Banking (CIB) division. The Product Strategy Propositions Analyst will provide fundamental support to the Strategy Propositions managers. The key purpose of this role is to support the development of market-ready and profitable strategies and associated product or service propositions for CIB customers.

Key responsibilities;

• Provision of market and internal analysis to assist in the formulation of product strategy and propositions.

• Influence, drive and articulate sector strategies including accountability for creation of regular strategy documents including vision, strategic priorities, business and market analysis.

• Support the development of strategic client propositions within CIB and across the division.

• Utilise commercial awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills to manage the interpretation of internal and external data to diagnose key issues and engaging Sector or Specialist Teams as appropriate.

• Produce fit for purpose sector, market or product fact bases through developing an in-depth understanding of the sector business, processes, regulations and systems architecture within short timeframes

• Identify ways to drive business performance based on the interpretation of data described above

• The delivery of appropriate Competitor / Market research and analysis including perspective on external market trends in selected areas

• Leverage strategic frameworks and concepts including these in the external market to draw out business insights and develop propositions to address key customer needs and issues.

• Build and present strategy and proposition business cases to a variety of internal audiences

• Work with key stakeholders (Product partners, Sector Heads, Finance, Marketing, etc)
