Product Supply Manager Job in Northamptonshire, Midlands UK
A market leading Distributor in the Northamptonshire area has engaged Inside Out Purchasing to help source a Product Supply Manager to join their business for an initial fixed term of 6 months, with the likelihood of this being extended to a 12 month contract.
Reporting into the Divisional Head of Product Supply, you will be responsible for managing the forecast replenishment system and driving optimum availability for a network of branches. You will be expected to effectively manage stock turn to minimise supply chain costs and deliver against agreed stock targets.
Managing a team of 30+, you will drive the implementation of managed ranges and control the supply chain for all routes to market. Additionally, you will work closely with Commercial teams to improve supplier performance on On Time In Full deliveries, availability and stock.
To be successful in this challenging role, you will have significant end to end supply chain experience. You will have a solid understanding of forecasting techniques, have a proven track record in delivering business objectives and have operated in a Finished Goods environment. Commercially you will have strong influencing skills and have the ability to lead and motivate a team of people.
If you can demonstrate the above, a pro-rata salary in the region of £50,000 - £55,000 plus additional benefits will be your reward, although for the right candidate, an interim Day Rate route into the business will be considered.
