Must be a US citizen.

High School diploma or GED.

3-5 years of experience preferred.

Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and rudimentary drawings.

Must be able to travel and work overtime as required.

Must be able to obtain and retain Secret Security Clearance.

Must join the Teamsters Local 35 Union.

Job Description:
Fabricates, assembles, and installs production equipment/assemblies related to a large variety of aircraft, ranging from single engine airplanes to complex, multi-engine turbojets and helicopters.

Familiar with military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints.

Installs parts and equipment on aircraft and makes modifications to the existing airframe to accommodate installations.

Performs sheet metal production work including fabrication, modification, and installation on a variety of aircraft.

Must work with various thickness of aluminum, steel alloys, stainless steel, copper, brass and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals in the fabrication of production metal parts for aircraft modifications.

Must construct, assemble, and install irregular items with instruction.

May be required to operate automatic machines. Uses tools and equipment associated with sheet metal shop, such as protractors, calipers, gauges, crimping tools/machines, forming machines, lathers, milling machines, saws and drilling presses.
