We are recruiting for a high-performing International Production Artist to work in our Amsterdam-based direct marketing office.
We are the largest company in the world who specializes in three-dimensional direct-mail campaigns for non-profit and commercial sector.
Our Amsterdam office, works for the International market offering tactical campaign management and campaign development allowing our client’s to double their current response rates and increasing their return on investment by using three-dimensional campaigns against conventional paper campaigns for acquisition and house mailings.
About the Role
As a Production Artist you will prepare, design and check art files for accuracy before submitting the art files to our production facility in Hong Kong. You will use your expertise, experience and knowledge and suggest improvements when needed to help modify formats that will increase the quality of production and ensure that standards are met.
You will be instrumental in:
- Setting up and developing client art files and preparing them for output to our production facility in Hong Kong.
- Working daily with our Hong Kong artist to ensure clear understanding and guidance is given in producing final art.
- Reviewing of production instructions issued by the Account Managers and comparing them to art files received, making sure information is correct and systems are up to date.
- Assisting the Creative Manager in designing presentation sheets for the Sales team
- Working in a team environment with other Artists, Data Coordinator and Account Managers in the production and delivery of direct mail programs
- Responsible for archiving and updating graphic files.
- Providing knowledge and guidance to the Account Managers and Sales team for pack creation and art set up
- Working on multiple International projects for France Germany, Italy, Australian, UK, Austrian and other countries as we grow and enter them.
Job Role Requirements
· The ideal candidate will be proficient in Art Design / Graphics. You will have a creative eye for information graphics and be fluent and adept the use of core design packages such as Quark Xpress 6.5, Adode In-Design CS3, Adode Photoshop CS3, Adode Illustrator CS3, Adode Acrobat 8.
· Minimum of two years experience within a similar role
· The candidate must be self-motivated, strong organization skills to navigate inter-departmental resources and coordinate across all of business support teams.
· Excellent communication skills both oral and in writing.
· Fluent in English and Italian speaking desired.
