PopTech seeks an energetic, detail-oriented individual to fill the full-time position of Production Assistant. The individual in this position will assume responsibility for a variety of projects and tasks associated with PopTech Institute events and programs.
The position requires extraordinary organizational and communication skills, and a knack for getting things done. This position opening is limited to PopTech’s Camden, Maine office.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a team of high-spirited colleagues and possesses creative problem solving and diplomacy skills. He or she should be able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and have a proactive, multi-tasking, collaborative work style with great attention to detail. A high level of nimbleness and positive energy is required to thrive within our small, tight-knit organization. Curiosity and stamina for learning are key attributes for our work culture.
Qualifications:
· Previous event/theatrical production experience
· Background in design a plus
· Detail oriented, self-motivated and well organized
· Able to work successfully alone or with a group
· Personable and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable communicating with high-level executives by phone and in person
· Customer service focused
· Computer literate with proficiency in Keynote/PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
· BA/BS degree preferred, but will consider relevant work experience
