The Production Center Manager, Senior Tier 1 is responsible for successfully overseeing the production and distribution of orders forwarded to the CPC from FedEx Office center locations or other channels (e-commerce, etc.). Primary responsibilities include the creation/maintenance of a positive work environment, development of CPC team member’s skills, facilitation of team member goal achievement, compliance by all team members with company policies and procedures, dissemination of relevant company information to all team members, and achieving key performance measures. The Production Center Manager, Sr Tier 1 will primarily oversee a location whose volume capacity exceeds that of lower Tier CPCs (in part likely due to supporting a high count of centers) and thus requires additional elements to functionally succeed (largest staff size by model, largest equipment plan by model, largest CPUD POD staffing size, Direct Mail, unique product/service offerings such as offset presses, mylar tab machines, etc.) The Production Center Manager, Sr Tier 1 will also supervise the Production Center Manager – Signs Graphics that is geographically aligned to their CPC in a cluster model. (This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive) - Lead and manage a team by training, developing, and coaching team members on a consistent basis - Review production cost and product quality, and develop and implement plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and labor force to establish, maintain, and enhance profitable operation - Direct preparation of required accounting records, and recommend budgetary requirements to management - Supervise the performance of administrative duties (payroll, inventory, team member schedules, etc.) - Monitor and ensure 100% compliance with quality control procedures - Ensure the proper and safe installation and maintenance of equipment - Provide supervision, leadership, and support for the Production Center Manager – Signs Graphics aligned to their cluster model - All other duties as needed or required
Qualifications
