Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Production Logistics / Chemical Technician on a contract basis with the world?s leading manufacturer of high-power LEDs. This is a 6+ month long contract position with Our client is the world's leading manufacturer of high-power LEDs and a pioneer in the use of solid-state lighting solutions for everyday purposes including automotive lighting, computer displays, LCD televisions, signage and signaling and general lighting. The company's patented LUXEON® Power Light Sources are the first to combine the brightness of conventional lighting with the small footprint, long life and other advantages of LEDs. The company also supplies core LED material and LED packaging, manufacturing billions of LEDs annually, and ranks as the producer of the world's brightest red, amber, blue, green and white LEDs. The Production Logistics Technician will work on the Manufacturing Floor and will be responsible for assisting Line Maintenance Technicians to accomplish their jobs more efficiently. Other responsibilities include - Parts Cleaning - PM Kit Preparation - Mechanical Assembly of parts - Leak Checking parts and assemblies for use on Production reactors - Coordination with Stockroom for proper stocking of spare parts - Coordination with Stockroom for proper handling of repairs - Other miscellaneous tasks to support Production We are seeking candidates with the following experience: - Knowledge of basic chemistry - Mechanical Aptitude - Good Communication Skills - Able to manage own schedule and work independently - Leak Detector Experience a plus This position is a 4/10 work week (compressed work week) Swing Shift 2pm-Midnight Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed, 2pm-Midnight Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat, 2pm-Midnight If you are interested in this opportunity or other opportunities available through Adecco Engineering and Technical, please apply online or email directly to Riz.Baldovino@adeccona.com The Adecco Group is a Fortune Global 500 company and the global leader in HR services.
