POSITION SUMMARY
Schedule activities of Production Control group in coordination with Supervisor – Production Control. Interact with other Innotrac Departments with information regarding their work schedule and estimated completion dates. This position informs the Supervisor of the status of the production schedule. Maintain online production schedule.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Schedule and verify the successful completion of file generations for output to clients in order supply the requested data for those clients.
- Oversee the scheduling and timely completion of various file loads required for inputting data.
- Able to manipulate, and fix incoming and outgoing files accurately.
- Help coordinate the implementation of new production systems with the development group, and client services group, insuring that proper testing has been done.
- Help coordinate the resolution of any system and/or software problems with the Programming and System Management Groups.
- Communicate with the appropriate group in a timely manner when any problems encountered.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of Innotrac personnel, within all Innotrac offices.
Must maintain an open line of communication with various Innotrac Clients in regard to client files, programs and problem resolution.
· Knowledge of Excel (Intermediate skill level).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands are considered to be that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. Requires prolong sitting. This person must be able to lift 50 pounds. The candidate must be able to adjust work hours as required. Must be available for overtime work that has been arranged by prior scheduling, or in an emergency situation.
Education / Experience / Certifications
Two years of post-secondary education in Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years of experience in production control, or IT environment, or four years experience.
