Job Description – Project Coordinator  (Temp Assignment for hire ASAP through early September, 2012).

Learner’s Digest International is a leading producer of continuing medical education products targeted to physicians and other healthcare professionals.  The Courses and Sessions product line of Learner’s Digest consists of partnerships with leading medical societies and institutions, such as the American College of Cardiology, American Psychiatric Association and Cleveland Clinic.   Learner’s Digest works with the societies to capture, market and sell the educational content presented at Annual and Specialty Meetings via online, DVD, CD and USB products.

This Project Coordinator role is a temporary assignment, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, but interacting with a cross-functional team including IT, Sales, Customer Service as well an external technology vendor/partner.  The Project Coordinator will be expected to show extreme flexibility as, with any client-focused service organization, clients’ needs can vary greatly from day to day. 

Specific responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

·         Manage educational content master recording schedules with clients and technical vendors

·         Manage data updates to recording schedules, including speaker permissions and speaker submitted educational questions

·         Assist in managing vendors in post-production of products, including testing and quality of control of products before released

·         Track and report on product sales

·         Assist in tracking and coordinating schedules, deadlines and all deliverables per client

·         Work with cross-functional, internal teams, including marketing, production and education to ensure all project specifications are being met.

·         Analyze and report on viewing/usage data of educational content

·         Attend Annual and Specialty Meetings where content is being captured.  Responsibilities at Meetings could include being a liaison with client and third party vendors; coordinating set-up and logistics of sales booths

·         Help with ad-hoc client and end user requests

 

Qualifications

·         Strong attention to detail and conscientious follow through

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Ability to work proactively and independently

·         1-3 years Project Management experience

·         1-3 years Account Management/Client Service experience

·         Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

·         Bachelors degree

·         Travel may be required (initial trip to DC and possibly to several conferences during the month of May).  Conference related trips in May would include weekends.
