Italian multinational Group, world leader in Hydraulic and Industrial Hose and Fittings, for its manufacturning facilities in Johor, Malaysia, would like to invite suitably qualified candidates for the position of :

Production Manager

in Malaysia

(Rif. 1)

 

reporting to the Plant Manager the successful candidate will be based in Malaysia, with the responsibility for overseeing all manufacturing processes ensuring that goods are produced on time, at the right level of quantity and are of good quality according to production schedules.

 

The position is located in Johor, Malaysia.

 

Duties and responsabilities:

 

-       Develop the output capacity forecast according to production standards taking into account production mix and quality standards;

-       Manage production resources through effective management of production lines;

-       Ensure procurement of raw and auxiliary materials though a monthly compounds consumption forecast;

-       Ensure the compliance with  safety regulations and guidelines and the achievement of safety levels liaising with the Health and Safety Manager;

-       Communicate the company’s goals to be achieved to manpower ensuring that the set targets are shared by reviewing their results and if necessary suggesting improvement plans;

-       Liaising among different departments interacting with the manufacturing process;

-       Organize work shifts according to set production scheduling;

-      Cooperate with Maintenance Manager and Technical Manager in order to optimize the necessary maintenance interventions on plans and machinery.

 

Requirements/Skills:

 

-          University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification;

-          Several years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in the hydraulic systems;

-          Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles;

-          Good English both written and spoken;

-          Willing to travel;

-          Excellent communication skills, strong supervisory and time management skills;

-          Advance skills in MS Office applications.

 

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to suitable candidate who is willing to be relocated medium to long term in Asia.
