Market leading manufacturing company, servicing the mining, marine and transport industries. For over 30 years, this highly specialised manufacturer has been providing engineering solutions to issues relating to regulations, the environment and the reduction of maintenance costs.
Due to sustained growth, our client is looking for an experienced Production Manager to implement and manage a new production process to service the increased demand. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing the end to end manufacturing process and implementing Lean Techniques across a labour intensive team, enabling the company to service a higher volume of production to its clients.
The ideal candidate will have extensive manufacturing management experience within a fabrication/engineering environment. You will have a proven track record in Process Improvement across a production plant with superior people management and organisational skills. You will have strong knowledge of various Lean Techniques and have a prove track record of implementing them across a highly specialised team.
