Adecco Engineering Technical is seeking a valuable Production Operation Analyst for a perm position in Richardson, TX!!!!
Job Description:
Responsible for multi-platform operations, scheduling, and/or data storage. This includes monitoring, analyzing, and resolving basic to moderately complex production, application, and system problems to ensure that the data center service commitments are met. Analyze work flows and procedures to expand operational knowledge. Update processing procedures/documentation related to the data center for batch application processing and backup/contingency plans. Respond to client/internal production support inquiries and resolve or escalate problems as necessary. This professional position is expected to handle additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
The position will be assigned to either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift coverage and/or may require work on the weekend.
Responsibilities:
Monitor company wide systems, processes and applications in 24x7x365 environment
First level response to server, database, middleware, and/or application alerts
First level responsibility for monitoring daily job processing and/or overnight batch cycles
Use documentation to triage incidents and escalation to support teams
Create turnover documentation/email/participate in daily turnover meetings
Outage management (for both scheduled and unscheduled outages), including coordinating the communication with the business, IT management, and the technical resources working on the incident
Responsible for adhering to the integrity of the company’s account security and control processes
Create/Maintain documentation and procedures to develop a consistent, cost effective set of services.
Create, execute, and troubleshoot scripts in Windows and Linux environments
Administer changes to the Control-M schedule
Create, modify, or remove Control-M jobs per change request
Synch-up Control-M environments (Dev, QA) after each major release or schedule change
Assist in creating scorecards when necessary
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of experience using Control-M scheduling software
Ability to create, document, and follow processes and procedures
Ability to create, execute and troubleshoot scripts in Windows and Linux environments
Ability to create, execute and troubleshoot scripts in Windows and Linux environments using VB script, PowerShell, C-sharp, Korn Shell
Excellent knowledge of network applications such as FTP, SFTP, Telnet
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently without high degree of supervision
Ability to work as team player
Ability to make decisions using critical reasoning
Experience dealing with high stress situations, ability to maintain calm and cool composure, think rationally, and solve problems in such situations

Previous experience in a production operations environment is a plus
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience creating scripts using VB Script, WSF, and Perl will be a definite plus
Exposure to utilities industry and related operation concepts will be a definite plus
Exposure to an Application Service Provider business model
*Note: Forward thinking, complete flexibility on hours. 4 ppl have to rotate coverage over 3 shifts. Monitoring system and responding when things go wrong. Not only respond, but do documentation and data gathering and analysis. Need to know how to fix, sign into server, move files, system operation, how to encrypt files, etc.
Education:
Associate Degree in business, computer science or related discipline
