Acloche is seeking a Production Planner for a company in Northwest Columbus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Computes and forecasts all cost factors and prepares estimates used for planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing quotes, as well as determining cost effectiveness.
- Works with all departments, including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, Plant floor and Accounting to compile information.
- Improves current system to capture costs as well as the progress on mass production parts and project work and provides timely and accurate reports of these measurements.
- Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
- Enters new inventory parts into the Manufacturing System as well as creating Bills of Material for any new mass production parts project work.
- Reviews all daily timecards and works with associates in all departments to develop ways to streamline all processes in accordance with recording daily time.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- Four year college or university program certificate; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the mass production industry.
