Our client, a well known industrial company in Luxembourg, is recruiting an experienced

Production Planning Leader (m/f)

based in Luxembourg

 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, he/she is responsible for leading the Central Planning related tasks and projects and coordinating the European sites.

 

Role - Job description:

 

-         Materials Sharing plan

o   Be responsible for the materials sharing plan

o   Collect and analyze data in order to support the production

o   Consolidate the information and give clear direction to the Business Units leader

-         Implement the SAP APO across the production centers and ensure training, maintenance and best practice use of the tool

-         Train and support local Business Units with planning processes, ensure alignment in tools and creation of appropriate forecast visibility across the group to improve short and long term planning

-         Improve continuously plans regarding forecasting and demand management, inventory management and purchasing planning

-         Analyze inventory and suggest corrective measures for quality improvement. Determine stocking policy for all inventory types and implement it in collaboration with Business Units

-         Bring analytical data and suggestion to support decisions related to new product launches

-         Provide support to others for central planning tasks required across the Business Units

-         Establish materials inventory list and maintain it with appropriate tools and data

-         Responsible for the group SKU Master Data administration process and quality

-         Provide support to the Central Buyer

 

Profile:

-         University degree with a specialization in Supply Chain

-         Minimum of 7 years business experience in relevant Supply Chain management role (central planning, manufacturing processes, distribution, logistics, etc.)

-         Ability to lead, understand and coordinate cross-functional teams and projects

-         Capacity to develop vision, goals and objectives for the Supply Chain organization

-         Strong knowledge of SOP, forecast and demand management

-         Strong communication and facilitation skills, at all levels in the company

-         Proactive, openness and change driver

-         Fluent in English

-         Good MRP knowledge and computer skills (Excel, Access, SAP)
