You will spend the majority of your time improving the efficiency of the manufacturing process and managing small capital projects. Responsibilities:
Actively lead and support the plant safety programs;
You will create an environment that promotes teamwork and accomplishment through open communication of ideas;
Actively pursue ways to meet site yield expectations by working with operators and plant manufacturing staff to identify potential bottlenecks;
Understand the Waste, Speed and Delay design for each product on each machine, then meet or exceed design; and
Routinely verify conformance of material being produced to meet or exceed the quality standard.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance;
Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results;
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills (bilingual in Spanish a plus);
Knowledge of Six Sigma or Qualpro (preferred);
Demonstrated intermediate skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software);
Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others;
Demonstrated ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results;
Demonstrated ability to measure an employees performance to goals;
Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, employee relations, quality, productivity and cost;
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload while paying attention to detail; and
Demonstrated ability to function as a strong team player.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree, Engineering degrees (preferred);
5 or more years in a management role in a high speed manufacturing environment with two or more years of experience managing others.
RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial, paper science).
- 3 or more years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical control systems on continuous production lines including programmable logic control (PLC) and variable frequency drive systems (VFD).
