Essential Functions: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Plating processes of aerospace materials to various specifications. Maintains the processes and certifications for Plating Equipment and recording instrumentation to Nadcap and specified quality standards. Participates in Internal, External, and Customer Quality Audits. Must also be capable of determining solution concentration of plating baths "by titration" or ICP. Other duties to include additions of appropriate chemicals to plating tanks, process control (Salt Spray, Adhesion, etc.). Perform trouble-shooting to eliminate plating process chemical related issues. Stay abreast of developments in metal finishing technology and strive to make continuous improvements. Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions. Report all incidents including injuries. spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor. Basic Qualifications Thorough knowledge of Plating of aerospace materials to various specifications. Preferred Qualifications Two year college chemistry. Knowledge of Aerospace Fasteners Chrome Plating.
