Hollander’s product lines include a broad range of bed pillows, comforters, and mattress foundations, which are filled with synthetic fibers as well as feathers and down. Products are manufactured under our own label, under retailer’s store brands as well as designer brands.
Job Description
Title: Second Shift Production Supervisor
Department: First / Second Shift Puff Ball, Feathers Garnett
Reporting To: Shift Production Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: There are currently two positions open; one for the first shift and one for the second shift. The production Supervisor provides leadership to ensure that the plant operates efficiently while delivering quality products and superior service in a safe and challenging work environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all company policies, labor contracts, and all applicable laws. This position offers support the Plant Manager by ensuring operational excellence in the following categories: Execution, Financial Control, Innovation, Environmental, and Leadership.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise, Support and Train hourly production employees
- Coordinate the daily activities of hourly employees to meet shipping schedules
- Maintain employee performance to ensure quality expectations
- Maintain records of employee’s production for performance evaluation.
- Help to ensure adherence to correct inventory procedures.
- Administer the disciplinary process when necessary
- Train all new hires in Safety, security and Housekeeping
- Meet all production and shipping schedule.
- Ensure that all finished goods are scanned and labeled correctly.
- Lead by example of all policies and procedures (including attendance policy)
- All other duties as assigned by the Management team.
- Work with other supervisors and assist in all basic departments

Education And/Or Experience:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- 3 – 5 years previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working in a Union Environment
- Oracle
- Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing
