Production Support Analyst recruitment

Main Responsibilities

• Front and Middle office systems Support

• Troubleshooting

• Upgrade Projects

• Prioritisation

• Representing Support group at Status and Project Meetings

Regular Tasks:

•             Checking all the live systems available, primarily in London (but also other locations) at start of business and monitoring them throughout the day using various in house applications and monitoring tools.

•             Responding and prioritizing responses to customer needs.

•             Informing/working with Development to resolve issues

•             Maintaining and updating all environments – Production, beta (testing) and QA.

•             A strong knowledge of various financial markets (including Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives)

•             Liaising and meeting with customer IT contacts. Internal customers as well as big banks.

•             Reporting bugs and suggesting improvements from customer requests

•             Logging calls for reporting (Using Salesforce.com and QSM)

Skills/Experience Required

• Strong Unix skills.

• Previous experience supporting Electronic trading systems and trade capture.

• Exposure to trading environment either as a trader or Front Office support role.

• Ability to deliver and understand the importance of Customer Service excellence either face to face or by telephone.

• Ability to prioritise based on business requirements

• Be comfortable in the Trading Floor environment

• Good knowledge of Financial Markets (Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Futures.)

• Good Understanding of Network Connectivity.

• Exchange connectivity

• Citrix very desirable

• Good working understanding of Windows and associated suites.

The position is reports to the London Production Support manager and the candidate needs to be able to bring experience and inspiration to the table and be able to adapt to working within the team and being able to work on specific tasks and projects. Good time management skills required and ability to take responsibility required. First class communication skills at all levels essential.  Flexibility and dedication is needed to provide the ultimate customer service to all sectors of our client base.

The candidate needs to be able to react calmly and quickly in what is often a volatile environment with customers sometimes coming across somewhat aggressive.

The candidate needs to be able to fit in with the company culture but also bring experienced gained elsewhere to our business and use this to develop our team.
