We have an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly expanding, well accredited FMCG Company within a Factory Team Leader position, based near Poole, Dorset.
Due to the rapid growth and demand by large, multiple companies we require a fantastic person to join our team. The role requires the oversee of daily production and auxiliary areas, ensuring all KPI's are met if not exceeded whilst maintaining the highest level of quality standards and health and safety regulations. We are extremely proud of our prestigious products and want the right person to take on our values and administer them to their operatives through promoting training and development schemes, build strong relationships with production and Technical/Quality operatives ensuring we continue to move forward regarding production.
Duties will include effective communication and liaison with Factory Managers to ensure correct staffing levels, target production plans and production progress is regularly monitored to ensure down time is kept minimal. You will be accountable for the entire shift, making it your duty to exceed expectations when handing over to the next shift.
You must have previous experience within a supervisory or management role (Minimum 2 years), from a production or factory environment, preferably from the food and beverage sector but not essential. NVQ Level 3 certificate in Team leading or equivalent with IOSH (or Equivalent) Health and Safety Certification is essential. You computer skills should be exceptionally high, with experience of continuous improvement practices and processes. You will need to be confident communicating, with a positive motivational attitude and able to successfully promote the importance of change.
In return you have fantastic benefits and excellent rate of pay; Shift pattern is 6-2/2-10/10-6 Monday -Friday, switching to 36 hour weeks- 12 hour days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's from January.
