Job Overview

As a manufacturer of thermoformed paper packaging products, we design and utilize heated dies in hydraulic presses to form paper under exacting specifications into various shapes and sizes.  The Production Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing our manufacturing equipment, performing tooling changeovers, and assuring that production operates efficiently at peak performance. Additionally, the Technician will work in concert with our production associates, support product development activities of our die lab, and work closely with the Maintenance Manager, VP of Operations, and VP of Product Development.

This is a full time position, primarily first shift (5am-2:30 pm) with hourly flexibility to suit production needs, and commands a competitive base pay ranging from $14-18/hr commensurate with experience and results.  We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and personal time; health, life and disability insurance; and a matching 401(K) plan.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, team oriented individual, with knowledge and experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and PLC systems; as well as MSDS and LOTO programs.  The candidate must have a high school diploma, (additional college and/or trade school education desirable), a positive attitude with good communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities.
