Production Technician (Job ID 00001541) Under the direction of the shift supervisor, the technician will monitor, maintain, and control all equipment and processes of the operating unit in order to meet requirements as stated in related operating procedures. This includes monitoring and evaluating process variables, sample results and making changes and/or corrections to maintain optimum control, efficiency and safety of the unit and equipment. Required Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning. • Strong computer skills. • Ability to serve on the Emergency Response Team (ERT). • Ability to wear and utilize all personal protective equipment. • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift; weekends; holidays; overtime; and respond to callouts. • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. • High level of safety and environmental awareness. • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with diverse groups. Additional Desired Qualifications: • Two years college or technical school preferred. • Knowledge of production environment a plus.
