Professional-Network Planning Engineer+
This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT"s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
- Associates degree in Engineering, Math or Sciences.
- Ability to use the knowledge and skills in these areas to resolve complex problems: basic science knowledge, including Finance and Economic analysis and Engineering Economics; IP engineering principles (IP switch design and installation, VOIP, etc.), network system, equipment and architecture, power engineer principles (electric power transmission, telecom systems and standards (TCP/IP protocol, routing protocols (Static, BGP, OSPF), telephony engineering principles and wireless engineering principles.
- Proficient knowledge of mathematical modeling principles (reliability analysis), network performance modeling (synchronization, vendor capability assessment, voice/data, switching), network planning (capacity planning, OSI network protocol design)
- 3-5 years of progressive successful development
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or Sciences.
- Strong computer pc skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word).
- Proficient knowledge of Access capacity management system, CAPRI, INPQ, JAM, LOGIC, and or NEMOS tools and software.
