Recognised globally as a leader within the transportation industry, this organisation operates in over 20 countries worldwide. With multiple sites across Australia, an excellent opportunity is available in their Brisbane office for a Project Analyst to cover maternity leave. The role is initially an 18 month contract with an opportunity to go permanent.
Reporting to the Controlling Manager of projects, your role will incorporate financial evaluation of tenders, preparation of project budgets and forecasts including detailed variance analysis, cost reporting and financial reporting. You will also take full control of maintaining joint venture relations, reviewing EHS performance against targets, supporting the annual audit process and any other ad-hoc duties as requested.
You will be degree qualified and have completed a professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA). Having developed a strong career in management or project accounting will enable you to provide the relevant information to support decision making. You will be a highly organised individual with the ability to effectively communicate cross multiple locations and prioritise competing deadlines. This role will require occasional interstate travel.
