Volt Workforce Solutions has a Direct Hire, In-House position available in Woburn, MA for a Program Coordinator.
Position Summary:
The Onsite Program Coordinator provides staffing and management support for all temporary employees on assignment at the customer location. Additionally, s/he is responsible for direct management of on-site temporary employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison and represent Volt Workforce Solutions and the client in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
- Administer the requisition process for client workforce needs and distribute to Branch location and/or Associate vendors.
- Screen resumes and schedule candidate interviews.
- Oversee the completion of job descriptions, candidate testing requirements, salary ranges, performance reviews and salary increases.
- Address and resolve all employee relations issues as well as contingent workforce questions and concerns in a confidential manner.
- Counsel employees on issues including, but not limited to performance, professionalism, attire, language, attendance and policies.
- Maintain written documentation from customer on specific policies and procedures/changes that will impact Volt Workforce Solutions such as assignment extensions, maximum length of assignment, dress codes and security issues.
- Ensure that security background investigation forms are properly completed and processed in accordance with client/governmental agency direction.
- Provide training to Branch Recruiters and Associate Vendors in policy and procedure matters.
- Meet with User Managers on a regular basis to monitor quality, as well as assess upcoming needs, current service level and new or changing issues in the department.
- Design creative solutions to meet customer challenges.
- Complete paperwork required in setting up both payroll service and Volt Workforce Solutions recruited employees.
- Check in and conduct new-hire orientation, including security/safety procedures, and escort all supplemental workers to their work stations on their first day of assignment.
- Collect and validate timecard accounting accuracy.
- Develop programs to recognize individual or team efforts and enhance morale.
- Provide various customer reports per their request.
- Communicate all information to Volt Workforce Solutions branches, associate vendors, and supplemental workers on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance to state and Federal employment laws.
- Complete timely entry of information tracking for performance measurement in Volt Workforce Solutions automated systems.
- Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
- Effectively utilize all advanced capabilities of Volt Workforce Solutions computer databases.
- Complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Required Skills for this Program Coordinator position include the following:
- 2-3 years of experience in Administrative and/or Clerical functions
- Experience in Human Resources or related post-secondary education and/or equivalent Business experience a plus
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in comparable field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong customer service skills, as well as ability to work with various personalities and styles of individuals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes
- Ability to:
