Program Director Director of Curriculum and Instruction
The Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Curriculum Instruction for Online Programs. Programs include the School s nationally-recognized graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC); Digital Marketing Communications graduate certificate; and undergraduate minors in Advertising, Public Relations, Sport Communication, and Healthcare Promotions. The primary responsibilities include: management and evolution of curriculum in all sequences, development of new and existing courses, ongoing assessment of curriculum, and maintenance of quality standards throughout all courses. Candidates must show creativity, initiative, and good judgment and have the ability to communicate ideas clearly. Decision-making, problem-solving, and researching skills also are important. Master s degree with significant experience in curriculum development is required. Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a discipline closely related to IMC (Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism) is preferred.
