Program Director Job in Millbrook 12545, New York Us

A known drug treatment center is looking for a Program Director to join our team. This position’s goal is to lead a multidisciplinary team, in delivering a complex array of Outpatient services that are integrated, evidence-based and consistent with external regulatory compliance and billing requirements, and meet the needs of the community that it is serving.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:

 

·         Supervise all clinical and administrative facility operations, including timely submissions of required reports, licensing, regulatory and funding sources

·         Assure that facility is in compliance with all state and local regulations, including policies and procedures

·         Assure that the facility is adequately staffed

·         Chair weekly program staff meetings

·         Provide training and documented individual and group supervision of staff

·         Establish / maintain relationships with appropriate agencies through outreach efforts

·         Assure that operations remain within established budgetary guidelines

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

 

·         Demonstrated clinical and management experience with adult treatment populations

·         Demonstrated clinical and management experience with adolescent   treatment

·         Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, local government, funding sources, families and local communities

·         Experience with the implementation of co-occurring clinical services

·         Knowledge and experience of the evidence-based literature pertaining to adult and adolescent substance abuse treatment

·         Experience in working with mandated treatment populations and relationship building with the criminal justice system

·         Understanding of trauma informed, culturally competent, recovered oriented services

·         Demonstrated skills in talent management and development

·         Clear understanding of OASAS Part 819, OMH, CARF and other regulatory and accreditation standards.

·         Experience with the implementation and maintenance of electronic records systems

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work effectively with managers, administrators, clinicians, physicians and other staff members across department lines

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Demonstrates strong organizational skills

·         Ability to develop and give presentations and to facilitate groups

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks

·         Advance computer literacy

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         Masters level education or equivalent   

·         3 – 5 years of proven leadership/managerial experience and accomplishments

·         Adolescent and Criminal Justice experience preferred.
