Automotive Experience Required
Prefer experience working with Ford or Nissan
Specific Job Tasks
o Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
o Provides expert technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing efforts of cross-functional product development teams
o Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
o Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the customer
o Effectively applies methods and enforces project standards
o Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
o Tracks teams hour reporting practices
o Assists in the creation of and management to the project budgets for development, tooling and capital
o Determines the appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for the project.
o Maintains project financial summary
o Analyzes and reports project profitability and profit margins
o Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively
o Ensure all activities associated with major project gates are completed and reviewed per schedule
o Effectively communicates relevant project information to Senior Program Manager and Product Line General Manager
o Delivers informative and well-organized presentations
o Resolves and / or escalates issues in a timely fashion
o Able to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully
o Documents, leads, and maintains program objectives per
o Identify new business opportunities through intimate customer relationships, present to Sr. Program Manager and / PLGM
