The Merck Research Labs ( MRL) IT Global Regulatory, Safety, MRL Compliance Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Program Management Office organization is seeking a talented and highly motivated information technology professional to join our team as a Program Manager. The selected individual will have responsibilities for managing programs for the CMO and Compliance portfolios within the MRL Division. The successful candidate will have a mix of direct and matrix IT program management experience. The Program Manager is responsible for participating with the identification, planning, execution and controlling aspects of programs in support of MRL IT CMO and Compliance clients. These activities include but are not limited to financial, scope, risk and issues management, cross functional and cross divisional communication management, creation and stewardship of related Program Management documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities: Develops and manages Program Management Planning Documents, including: Communication, Financial, Human Resources, Integration, Issues and Risk, Procurement, Quality, Schedule and Scope. Development of key program status updates, critical communications, and the escalation of critical issues and risks. Manage program financial's. Vendor management, including reviewing vendor deliverables, holding vendors accountable for meeting timelines and milestones, etc. Build and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship across all disciplines, while ensuring that key business drivers are addressed.
