New Solutions Development is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving processes to develop new innovation growth business products for the Company. The group manages specific corporate programs associated with platforms within the Technology Group and helps maintain Tech Center and Business Involvement.

This position is responsible for managing multiple critical new growth projects designated by Platform and Innovation Organizations as well as ensuring core and extended team efforts meet the requirements and timeframes for program milestones and gates.

Specific responsibilities include:

·         Lead critical growth programs through the new product development process ($10 - $75 million in sales).

·         Integrate and develop both DFSS and APQP strategy and tools in all products managed by this role.

·         Manage capital and expense budgets.

·         Report out to leadership at all levels.

·         Document progress of Technology led programs.

·         Interface with the Technology Platforms and Domain Directors to ensure alignment and coordination with the New Product Development Process.

·         Lead the use of DFSS tools in the Program Management environment.
Successfully lead multiple profitable programs through the New Product Development Process.

·         Ensure new programs aligned with Platform/Domain focus and New Product Development Process Guidelines.

·         Maintain well run Project Teams; ensure critical resources are in place to achieve objectives.

·         Keep Leadership well informed of critical Program items.

·         Ensure the integrity of DFSS and APQP is imbedded and utilized in the New Product Development Process.
