Program Manager – Convertible Bonds recruitment
Essential experience: significant business depth working within Convertible Bonds or as a secondary option Equity Derivatives IT department; proven track record of working as a partner of the business to drive through technology change projects.
Desirable experience: a historical development background
This role is very much a business facing program manager that works as a partnership with the business and will face off with IT project managers. Essentially this person will take the business requirements, then work with a range of development functions to achieve the deliverables. The role sits within a global Credit department but is seen as very separate from the rest of credit as the technology stack has a strong equity feel to it.
The system used is a large-sclae vendor product which has lacked real funding over the last few years and as a result is getting some much needed some expenditure. This system covers the full trade life-cycle but the candidate needed for this role will definitely have a strong front office Background.
My client is essentially looking for strong Business Program Managers who have experience facing off with IT. People with a wide and deep business background in Convertible Bonds or Equity Derivatives will only be considered for this position. The role is a Director Level role, however the bank will also consider Senior VP's if they have the business exposure.
