Program Manager – Guest Services / CORP

Tommy Bahama defines elegant tropical living with men's and women's fashions, denim, swimwear, accessories and a complete home furnishings collection. Tommy Bahama, the purveyor of island lifestyles, is looking for a qualified Program Manager to join our team.

MISSION

This position is responsible for a wide range of technology projects in support of our Guest Services division. This role requires a strong technologist and communicator with contact/call center experience. This position will partner with our technology and guest service teams to deliver new tools and applications specific to our guest services business initiatives.

KEY RESULTS AREAS

• Lead and manage systems software projects within our Guest Services division, driving them through the full lifecycle from planning to release, to ongoing enhancements support.
• Build strong expertise in business applications, tools, processes and workflow to recommend and develop effective solutions.
• Provide leadership and strong collaboration with the Guest Services business team to utilize and extend our systems to meet their needs, and to best address their requirements
• Develop strong expertise in your software and systems, and play a hands-on role in testing and release activities.
• Manage software partners in regards to deliverables and product roadmaps.
• Manage and prioritize system issues and bug resolution.
• Provide system testing and implementation management.
• Work closely with technology infrastructure team to detect, diagnose and remediate production issues.
• Support and drive Tommy Bahama best-practice project management methodologies.
• Ensure functionality and technical support documentation exists for all applications.

EXPERIENCE, TALENT AND EDUCATION

Education/ Training

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5 yrs+ experience in project management.
• 5 yrs+ experience leading project teams of 5 or more individuals.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong experience in contact center systems and tools, including workforce management and optimization, quality management, IVR, CTI, CRM, knowledge management, BI and hosted software.
• Experience with eCommerce systems, especially as they relate to a contact center.
• Specific experience with Salesforce.com or Infor would be a plus.
• Ability to listen well and understand the needs of customers, staff, management and supporting departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people who have different levels of technical competence.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent technical and non-technical writing skills.
• Able to facilitate effective meetings.
