Posted Position Title: Program Manager II-HC Career Level: Experienced Function Engineering/Technology Function Segment: Program and Project Management Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Ohio City: Aurora Postal Code: 44202-9273 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Program Manager directs a virtual cross-functional engineering development team. The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the program objectives, critical success factors and deliverables for the team. Emphasis for this position will be New Product Development (NPI). Additionally, the Program Manager motivates the team and drives a sense of urgency on meeting program commitments. Essential Responsibilities Duties include (but are not limited to): "Driving effective communication across businesses and functions "Driving product planning and multi-generational product/platform roadmap execution "Working with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features "Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product field delivery "Working closely with Product Definition team in order to drive product direction "Working with customers to solicit product feedback and leading cross-functional teams to drive customer support Qualifications/Requirements: *Bachelors Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline *Minimum 3 years experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment. *Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQs *Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time *Must be willing to work in our Aurora, Ohio facility full-time *Must submit application for employment through gecareers.com (or COS if internal) to be considered *Must be 18 years of age or older *Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process *Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics *Engineering, science, or related field, including 8 years project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, or research development *Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products *Sound technical and domain experience in at least one functional technology area *Demonstrated experience on global product. *Strong written and oral communication skills *Excellent knowledge in engineering, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle *Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task *Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation *Demonstrated LEAN skills
