Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will provide leadership for the Joint Strike Fighter Defense electronics program from concept through production transition. This individual will work in a highly motivated team environment that designs and develops high performance products including contactors and relays for military and commercial aerospace applications.


Requirement
:

Lead all assigned programs to meet or exceed program milestones, financial goals and metrics. Balance competing demands and adverse goals.

Lead JSF program development effort from LRIP phase through full serial production.

Build Strong relationships with key customer and internal personnel.

Maintain frequent and effective customer communication.

Provide regular management updates.

Lead and contribute in a hands-on, fast paced culture, anticipate and quickly adjust priorities as required.

Ensure facility-wide compliance with ITAR and import/export regulations, including personnel.

Document review for assignment of proper export classifications.

Manage cross-functional development team for proposal creation, contract negotiations, schedule, budget, material procurement, and problem resolution.

Load and maintain detailed program performance data, including milestones, gate reviews, PL updates, program forecast in the divisional Sales and Operations Planning and Lean Product Development Systems.

Effectively prepare and present program status and gate reviews to the Product Acceptance Committee and Portfolio Management Team.

Coordinate RCCA activity, internal and external measure effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Professional program management experience in aerospace or automotive is required. PM certification is preferred.

Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills.

Facility with RCCA processes: 8D, Ishikawa

Technical degree required - EE, ME Physics, or Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management.

Aerospace industry background highly preferred.

Software skills required: MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Minitab and Visio helpful.
