Program Manager Job in Addison, Illinois US

Position Summary


The Program Manager is the primary point-of-contact for assigned client  account(s) and leads day-to-day management of the program(s).  This position is also responsible for the execution of all services to meet or exceed established metrics, the P L associated with the client and achieving the planned earnings.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

·         Works with key decision makers of designated accounts to set mutually beneficial annual goals and strategize to increase utilization of all services and programs, meet/exceed budget goals and ensure client satisfaction.

·         Market project kick off meeting facilitation

·         Customer service  2nd tier escalations

·         Establish solid working relationships with the  customer account to review service failures, supply issues, projects, programs,, process changes/change management, and forecasting: Ericsson Logistics Manager, Ericsson Program Managers,, Ericsson Supply Manager, Ericsson Delivery Manager

·         Participate in Customer/Market Project Kick off calls to communicate customer requirements related to service level requirements, order processing and reconciliation, delivery scheduling, and Customer Operations team contact information escalation matrix.

·         Facilitate at least once weekly operations reviews with customer and operations teams to discuss execution, areas of improvement, cost review, forecasting, etc.

·         Participate in internal or customer meetings to review service failures with customers to discuss trending and progress towards Corrective Actions.

·         Responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships through effective communication with all levels of management within designated clients. This includes conducting Quarterly Management Reviews (QMR) to review program effectiveness through client metrics, to ensure alignment with client strategy and exploring potential growth opportunities.

·         Proactively evaluates the client needs and initiates proposals for solutions that meet those needs.  .

·         Leads day to day operations  management. Soliciting feedback regarding the operational effectiveness.  Works with all internal resources to manage account initiatives and deliverables, tracks progress. 

·         Works with Ops Data and sales administrator to effectively and continuously measure and monitor performance.  Author’s summary/analysis of client financial issues.

·         Works with all internal areas to resolve and track client service issues and solve problems. Champions clients’ programs/ initiatives. Point of contact for issue resolution and problem solving, root cause, and corrective action

·         Manage and direct the team Operations Managers, Operations Supervisor, Leads, Coordinators: set expectations and priorities

·         Completes HR Tasks

·         Payroll Ceridian Validation Approval

·         Gather and report weekly internal Ericsson Reports: Labor Reports – staffing and hours, Inbound Tracking Report resolution and Production report.

·         Communicate and coordinate month end POD’s and PGI’s to meet Ericsson financial reporting requirements.

·         Lead Daily Production Calls with Ericsson

·          Become proficient in sycnreon’s Asset Management System and billing system

 

 

Qualifications

·         5 years experience in Supply Chain and 3PL

·         Experience with direct resource managment

·         Must possess suitable business acumen to understand and impact a profitable PL

·         High level proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Access

·         Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization, customers, and suppliers.

·         Ability to work efficiently under stress in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to perform needs assessment; problem solving and root cause analysis.

·         Experience working in a team-based and cross functional environment

·         Ability to prioritize multiple projects

·         Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts or certification a plus

·         Customer service attitude imperative

·         Travel as needed will be required
