The Eaton facility located in Glenolden, PA (near the Philadelphia Airport)has an opening for a Program Manager. The primary function of this position is responsibility for total customer satisfaction and financial performance for the development, production, and/or support phases of projects. Includes successful management of scope, cost/resources, schedule, subcontract management, performance management of the program and participation in implementing tools to enhance these tasks.

Other duties to include:

Provides monthly project updates (Program Performance Summary Status (PPSS) – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).

Leads and provides input and direction to the project team in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.

Focuses and advises on managerial concerns of the program (e.g., technical, cost, schedule and resource allocation). Use of risk management methodologies.

Works in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, Customer Support, Suppliers, etc.)and facilitates the PROLaunch processes (Phased Gate Review process).

Monitors overall performance during all phases of the program and develops and implements corrective action and recovery plans as required. Periodically, reports to the customer, as well as senior management.
Participates in customer program-related supplier design reviews, as required, to ensure the contractual requirements of the program are being met.

Basic Qualification:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5 years of aerospace industry experience with 2 of those years as a program manager, project manager, or project engineer.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Training in PMI (Project Management Institute) methodology and eventual certification in CAPM/PMP
- Understanding of aerospace industry and Eaton products
- Understanding of corporate and project finance
