Program Manager Job in Seattle 98164, Washington US

A  Program Manager will work with the Business and Technology teams to plan and successfully execute projects to its completion according to the business needs. Program Manager may have to manage multiple projects at a time and will be involved in managing Healthcare Technology development projects.

Major Responsibilities

 · Work closely with Product Management and Software Engineering teams to initiate, scope and launch new projects
· Develop and implement best-practice methodologies, processes, and metrics to optimize the overall success, effectiveness, and efficiencies of programs
· Negotiate time, scope, and budget with project stakeholders
· Collaborate with functional managers to create and manage project information including plans, schedules, resources, budgets, and use that information to create an integrated program plan
§Resolve project schedule conflicts and look for opportunities to increase coordination of activities among the various projects and initiatives
§Track, measure, and report on program progress, including but not limited to risks, resource usage, and target/actuals for program budget and schedules
§Create and update program dashboards with metrics for  productivity, utilization, and critical milestones
§Ensure that information and communication about critical program activities flows appropriately at all levels

Experience Required

§   Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing software development projects / programs

§   Software development experience preferred; software implementation experience considered

§   Experience in handling multiple projects / programs simultaneously

§   Healthcare / Insurance Software Engineering experience a strong advantage

§   Proven knowledge of project management best practices

§   Practical experience with risk analysis and conflict resolution

§   Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills

§   Strong team facilitation skills

§   Critical thinking and strong analytical skills

§   Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines

§   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

§   Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, SharePoint

Education or Training

§   Bachelor’s degree required

§   PMI or other Project Management certifications would be a plus
