Role Summary/Purpose

The Program Manager is part of a Regional Program Team and is fully responsible for delivery of all approved projects on time and on budget. Program Managers are assigned multiple projects for which they are responsible for delivering to predefined milestones and financial metrics. Projects / Programs may be internally focused New Product Developments or Customer Specific Products / Projects spread across the region.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Leadership of cross functional team that may consist of multiple core members that span all departments within Dresser Wayne, Distributors, Suppliers and other third parties including End customers as relevant. Is accountable to the financial metrics performance of their assigned projects:
o Leads the process to establish internal project budgets (resources and costs) working with appropriate functional group. (Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Marketing etc)
o Sets the milestones, deliverables and expectations for all core team members and creates a project plan. And maintains this plan throughout the project life.
o Sets Project team meeting schedules and objectives in line with all of the above. Including a kick off meeting at project initiation.
o Accountable to project timelines and budgets and is single point of contact for project updates.
o Over-communicates project updates to ensure alignment across regional organization.
o Drives the DW organization to ensure projects and programs are executed to meet customer con-tracts and / or internal targets (i.e. on time delivery to agreed budget)
2. Ensures Business Case assumptions are accurate throughout project will be delivered to a regional PL.
3. Follows Champions the NPI Review Process
o Quarterly Presentation to Product Development Board demonstrating execution and accurate updates of Milestones, Budgets, Timeline, Issues and Mitigation Plans
o Delivers complete content for monthly project books in the proper format
4. Ensures documentation for Projects is up to date and easily accessible.
o Contributes to the design of tools (SharePoint, Project Server WebEx, Documents etc) to facilitate process.
o Delivers weekly /monthly reports to regional director on all active projects
5. Manages customer and company expectations throughout the process

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Equivalent Experience in Project/Program Management, Commercial Roles /or Engineering.• Fosters an environment of accountability discipline to delivering milestones budget• Natural leader of people, creating respect, motivation to team goals strong team spirit / creativity. • Comfortable working communicating at all levels of the organization and across departmental boundaries.• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.• Comfortable adapting to surprises and changing inputs to projects.• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment.• Builds consensus, seeking out guidance from all stakeholders contributors to progress initiatives (From executive team, department managers team members)• Previous industry experience is desirable but not essential• Language Skills: Fluent English (Essential) and preferable to be fluent in Mandarin. Additional language skills would be advantage• Excellent IT skills with high proficiency in MS Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and experience of Oracle is advantageous• A self starter with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision and direction• Embraces and is motivated by change• High ethics and values are required to be part of the Dresser Wayne team Willingness to travel across the region as required to ensure that the project is executed on time, on budget and to customer contractual requirements
