The role: Program Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions Integration, Corporate Engineering
In this role, you will manage and lead the technical and engineering integration of mergers and acquisitions (MA). You must demonstrate the ability to provide matrix leadership across functional teams, lead complex projects to successful completion, evaluate data, and understand complex technical topics. You will be involved in all phases of the projects, including requirements gathering, planning, design, and deployment, through full integration. Success requires a combination of strong technical competency and the ability to lead and influence across functional groups.
Responsibilities:
- Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
- Develop and execute plans under a set of implementation and delivery time constraints.
- Collect and analyze relevant data and take actions accordingly. Facilitate broad collaboration with clear communication and documentation.
- Work with the cross-functional engineering team and related stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, manage and complete projects.
- Work as a liaison between Google's Corporate Development, Corp/IT, and various Engineering teams to lead the technical integration of acquired companies.
Requirements:
- BS degree or equivalent work experience required. MBA a plus.
- Experience managing large-scale, aggressive, and dynamic technical projects
- Proven cross-functional and/or cross-organizational relationship-building skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and relevance to the marketplace
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
