OVERLAKE MEDICAL CLINICS, LLC is looking for an experienced Program Manager of Development to join our growing out-patient clinic network.
Overlake Medical Clinics, (OMC), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Overlake Hospital Medical Center. OMC offers a range of services including 24-hour urgent care, primary care, and specialty clinics. Overlake clinics are currently located in Seattle’s eastside neighboring cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, and coming in January 2012 – Redmond.
The primary focus of the Program Manager will be development of the Overlake Medical Clinic network, coordinating all aspects of project scope, planning and acquisition, on-boarding and training of staff, assuring assimilation of organizational culture and values, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Plan and integrate functions and services to support Overlake’s goals and priorities.
Build effective working relationships throughout the organization with managers, staff, physicians, customers, and suppliers.
Provide leadership for effective service:
Assist with the selection of qualified and competent employees; Communicate Overlake’s vision and priorities and facilitate development of team and individual goals in alignment with organization goals; Empower staff to make decisions by providing information and tools; Serve as an effective role model of Overlake’s Shared Values and encourage staff to develop and demonstrate those values.
Continually assess and improve care and services provided to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of customers. Foster continuous quality improvement by leading teams in use of quality management tools and processes.
Manage organizational resources with fiscal responsibility and promote effective allocation and utilization.
Provide project development for new clinics or acquired clinics in the Overlake service area. This may include evaluating and distinguishing project scope, leading space planning including construction and Tenant Improvements, operational workflow evaluations and process implementations. Physician practice acquisition work also includes asset purchase development and lease negotiations.
Chair the On Boarding and Recruiting Physician Committee and well as the OMC Business Development Committee.
Develop and implement comprehensive orientation, training, and mentoring plans for providers and staff.
Guide the on-boarding process for all newly employed providers and staff using the appropriate comprehensive orientation, training, and mentoring plans working closely with the training team and clinic leadership as well as Human Resources.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Valid Washington State Driver’s license required.
Minimum of three years of multi-specialty physician group management required.
The “RIGHT FIT” we are looking for includes:
Experience with physician recruiting and practice acquisition preferred.
Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to understand line item budget detail and overall responsibilities for capital and operational budgets associated with projects.
Complete understanding of outpatient physician practice revenue cycle required.
Experience with techniques to improve efficiency and work flows such as Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
Knowledge of physician contracts and Stark laws preferred.
Some local travel is required. Normal office conditions with little or no exposure to undesirable elements. Variable hours are to be expected 7am – 9pm during the week.
