Program Manager, Philanthropy recruitment

The Program Manager, Philanthropy is responsible for managing all programmatic relationships with grantees of the parent company. He/she will also oversee the rundown of legacy commitments. The manager will review and evaluate all solicitations for grants at the corporate level and will forge partnerships and relationships with NGOs, foundation, and others to support granteee' goals in the company's core focus areas: Safety, Security, and Disaster Relief.

Creative and strategic thinker with at least 7 years of demonstrated success in corporate philanthropy, foundation or corporate relations, fundraising, or similar work with non-profits.

Strong understanding of AIG's values, ethics, and business goals.

Superb writer with excellent oral presentation skills.

Proven ability to work on multidisciplinary and multicultural issues in a global organization.

Efficient in building consensus in a global organization.

Proven ability to interact effectively with senior management and manage relationships withi NGOs.

Work independently or collaborate with CSR and communications staff.

Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
