An award-winning, global company, recognized for innovative products and processes. We are a Canadian-based manufacturer of Automotive Plastic Processed products (Tier 1 supplier) working with the premier OEM’s of the automotive industry.

· Working out of our Detroit Sales Office
· Manage and launch new product programs and assist in tooling try-outs and PPAP submission to customers
· Lead the liaison with Customer's Engineering and Design personnel
· Lead design and engineering on new and existing products (engineering changes)
· Prepare detailed part tooling and equipment cost quotations in response to Customer inquiries as well as in-depth presentations for technical reviews at customers
· Develop test plan (DVPR) and analyze results
· Manage suppliers of components, material, tooling and equipment
· Manage all project cost and tracking of changes
· Participate in new product development activities
· Manage tight timelines and deliver projects successfully
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years experience in project engineering within an automotive industry
· Engineering degree and related Engineering experience preferably in Plastics
· Solid understanding of overall project engineering and project management procedures(APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, quality standards, PPAP, cost tracking )
· Must be able to multitask and have solid time management skills
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Must be computer literate (MS-Office)
· Experience in Ford systems and processes would be a strong asset.
· Experience in automotive washer systems would be a strong asset
