Specific Job Description This position supports the Program Planning and Scheduling (PPS)Functional Department in the development and delivery of the Program Planning capability to programs and projects at LM Aero. Responsibilities Include the development, deployment, and implementation of processes, training, and tools in support of the Program Planning discipline. This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of program and project planning and scheduling products and practices and will be instrumental in the resultant remediation activities upon identification of gaps. One-on-one mentoring of planners, formal process and tools training, and leadership of team meetings are techniques that will be employed by this position in order to develop bench strength among the planning community, and to improve planning work products. Short term deployments to develop PPM products such as IMP, IMS, PSMS, where programs lack bench strength or manpower to accomplish contract requirements in a timely fashion with existing staff. Strong PPS hands on experience is required. Standard Job Description Prepares and coordinates the modeling and re-engineering of the Integrated Master Schedule for new or existing programs and supports the integration of the Integrated Master Plan into the Integrated Master Schedule. Establishes and coordinates business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives. Utilizing applicable project management tools, implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses. Communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders. Implement, maintain and manage planning products in support of planning processes. Perform independent network analyses resulting in reports and metrics. Conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management. Maintains and coordinates vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
