Position Summary
In this role, you will work on a team supporting drug manufacturers and biotechnology companies by providing a variety of services for their specialty products
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to research insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, and work with patient assistance programs.
You will also have the ability to coordinate and process requests from manufacturers, patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Experience and Education Requirements
Previous 1+ years of experience in a physician's office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background preferred.
College degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is accepted.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
Demonstrated excellent customer service approach. Telephone skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member with a customer satisfaction focus. Demonstrated problem-solving ability. Ability and initiative to work independently. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational and customer relations skills.
