Key Roles Responsibilities

Programme, Project and Change Management

•Gather high level business requirements to turn them into business solutions delivered through thorough and systematic programme, project design, build and delivery.
•Manage change to ensure that programmes/projects are effectively implemented, embedded and sustained.
•Direct, co-ordinate and contribute to the design, development and specification of Programme/Project related processes and procedures, documentation etc as required.
•Develop plans and requirements for programme work and/or implementations, preparing and delivering reports and presentations as required.
•Lead a small team in controlling and monitoring programme time scales and budgets, taking into consideration dependencies and recommend effective mitigations and/or solutions as appropriate 
•Drive and manage regular programme and risk meetings
Drive continuous improvement efforts (as appropriate) of PMO related procedures and processes; identifying / implementing possible areas for improvement
•Ensure programme requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines.
•Ensure all programmes and change management are aligned to ensure excellence in implementation and embedment.
•Assemble programme team, identifies needed resources, assigns responsibilities and develop timeframes to facilitate successful completion of programme activities and deliverables.
•Ensure compatibility and consistency with existing programme management, architectural and enterprise standards.

Relationship Management

•Proactively engage with stakeholders, at Group and business management both within and outside the function, to deliver Group OR objectives and priorities.
•Manage multiple stakeholders in complex relationships through influencing skills that ensures successful delivery.
•Work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the business needs are met during design, build and delivery phases of a project/programme.

Annual Planning

•Develop co-ordinate an annual planning cycle that delivers clear year ahead plans for MI Intelligence, Systems, Training Communications.

Operational Risk

•Understand operational risk management processes and mitigation strategies.
•Understand the Bank’s Risk Management Framework.
•Support the development of processes within the team that support world class OR and whilst achieving a predictive understanding of risk, effective and efficient allocation of resource and capability.

Qualifications  Skills

Professional

•Programme/Project management e.g. Prince2, PMP or equivalent
•Change Management e.g. SCB Change Acceleration Process (CAP) or equivalent
•Consulting or communications e.g. Consultant or Customer Relationship Management experience

Leadership, Management Personal qualities

•Ability to identify innovative solutions to complex problems.
•Excellent organisational and planning skills with a disciplined attention for detail.
•A highly motivated self starter with a hands-on, delivery focused approach.
•A team player who looks beyond their own role to support others.
•Open style of communication style that challenges but also supports team strengths, trust and cohesion
•Strong accountability for what they deliver, does not fear making mistakes but learns and adapts from making them.
•Positive Enthusiastic attitude.
•Good communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple businesses and geographies.
